Fredrick should seek retribution but, he should only seek repayment of any damages and request that any financial gain from the idea be paid in full by the professors and nothing more. He should also ask that his professors agree in writing and perhaps video an apology and verbal and written statement declining that they in fact ever devised the idea and declare that it was in fact all Fredrick’s so as to not accept any publicity from the idea itself. The advice given to him is fair and impartial; he is simple asking for what is his. If he does not win the court’s decision he should then leave it at that.
